Should I wear a suit to my admissions interview for a Master's in Accounting?
It's at a medium-sized private Catholic university. It's at a medium-sized but expensive Catholic University. I am a guy, by the way.

Yes! You only get one chance to make a great first impression. Good Luck!

Yes. It shows you would be a serious student and you only have one time at a first impression. Being a private Catholic university the administrators and faculty are probably rather conservative and would appreciate the respect you show with a suit. Good luck!

Yes. You want them to remember you by what you said, not how you dressed. Prospective students are expected to wear business clothes to interviews no matter what kind of grad school you're applying to, and anything else will stand out. You should also remove any body piercings you might have, as these annoy some interviewers. Overall, dress conservatively. This isn't the time for a bright pink jacket, or a neon tie.

I would say to ask around but if I were you (and if I were a man) I would wear a suit. Many business schools (even at the BA level) require their students to wear business attire to class. Plus, you should treat it as any other interview. Take a resume, your "A game" and a clean, professional look.
