Master in Accounting at Devry, my only option? I graduated from one of the UC (University of California) campuses with GPA very close to 2.0. I know such a low GPA won't find me a good job (or even decent one) so I decided to pursue on Master's degree. Currently, I am planning to attend Keller Graduate School (DeVry) since all traditional schools that I applied rejected me. Is this a good idea? I heard tons of negative opinions about this school so I'm kinda worried about my future employment. I'm going to major in Accounting and take CPA exam afterwards. Will Bachelor at UC + Master at Devry + passing CPA exam look better or worse on my resume? Please give me some advise if there's any other option, degree, or institution I should pursue. Higher Education (University +) - 1 Answers Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions : 1 Having the CPA credential will help you professionally, but I wouldn't rule out going into the workforce first. A masters' from a less reputable institution and little to no work experience will not make you significantly more attractive to employers than your bachelors', and any added debt will mean you have to be even less picky about what you take. Given time to gain experience, and possibly some continuing education courses at a community college, you'll look more attractive to traditional schools. Also bear in mind, you can leave the GPA off your resume; you may get asked about it, but you may not - and if you are, you can always outline your career plan to show that you are driven.

Can you get a Master's in accounting without a bachelor's degree in accounting
Can you get a Master's in accounting without a bachelor's degree in accounting? I currently have a bachelor's and a master's degree in Education but am now interested in a career change, particularly int he field of accounting. I'm not real interested in having to go back to school to get a bachelor's in accounting. This is going backwards to me, however I don't mind getting another masters in accounting. I have a few questions below: 1. Do you necessarily need a degree in accounting to be an accountant? I have heard different opinions on this matter and would like some final confirmation on it. 2. Do you know of any programs where you can earn your master's in accounting without having a background in it or a bachelor's in it? Any help guys would be really appreciated. If you need anymore information just let me know in your post. Thanks a lot and may God bless. Higher Education (University +) - 3 Answers Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions : 1 think so ask at the college 2 Without any background in accounting, you would need some "remedial" courses in order to start the master's program. Many MS programs are very competitive, so someone without any classes or background might have a hard time. However, schools DO like diversity so check some catalogs and see what the requirements are. If you have an affinity and accounting comes easily to you, then you might be OK, but you would need VERY high GRE scores on the relevant portions important to accounting. 3 You'd need to have some background in whatever you're going for, usually by taking some core classes because they expect you to know a lot when you get there. They can't start at the beginning for people who have never had any accounting. Its a lot of math and formulas and if you were previously in education you might not have had a lot of that. You'd need to speak to each school individually, most do take people without a Bachelor's in the same subject but they require you to take core courses to make sure you're up to speed.

Does the account master have to be present to replace a verizon phone with a manufacturer warranty
Does the account master have to be present to replace a verizon phone with a manufacturer warranty? My Env2's "ok" button stopped working after three months. I got the software updated a couple of days ago which just made the problem worse. My parents aren't here but my 17 year old sister can take me to the Verizon store. Do i need the account master (my dad) or someone over 18 to get my phone replaced under a one year manufacturer warranty? Thanks Cell Phones & Plans - 3 Answers Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions : 1 Yes, the account holder would have to do it. I am the account holder on mine and my wife's phones and she can't make account changes on our plan. 2 Sorry...yes you do. For some reason the account master always has to be there! It sucks..thats why it took me so long to get a new phone. My dad is like never home. Anyway, the point is that you'll have to wait until you're parents are there. 3 No you don't. I am not my account holder and im under 18 and iv'e gotten it replaced with my sister. You can go in alone! Go to the Tech Support tell them the problem, they will look at the phone , take it in the back and within 20 min have a brand new one for you.

Master of Accounting near Phoenix
Master of Accounting near Phoenix??? Where can i find a program to obtain my master of accounting in Phoenix? I'm looking for night school or something on the weekends as I work in Scottsdale. Phoenix - 1 Answers Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions : 1 The obvious choice is ASU. However, given that you are working and you need to take night classes it might be a little more difficult. You might try Thunderbird School of Global Management. Also, you might want to check out Grand Canyon University or University of Phoenix

Is it possibble to keep an aol subsequent e-mail address while cancelling the master account
Is it possibble to keep an aol subsequent e-mail address while cancelling the master account? I'm canceling my aol because i don't use it and am paying for it but my mother has an address under my account. Is it possible for her to keep her address while i cancel my master account? Other - Internet - 1 Answers Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions : 1 Hi! It will depend on AOL policy. You can always create a free AOL account and use it meaning you don't have to have internet service with them. Since it's all automated most likely your mother sub account will be removed as well. You might try to call customer support and ask to separate it from your account but I'm not sure if they will do it or not. Good luck! DS
