IQ doesn't significantly matter when it comes to such things, as long as yours is normal. It's your engagement, curiosity, technical knowledge and experience that really matters.

Competence is Senior to IQ. There are many low IQ people who are brilliant at their highly skilled jobs. Then there are those with stellar IQ's and are bumbling idiots at their job. Of course all people are different. So some people with similar competence levels and IQ's would find either of these jobs easy, or hard, depending on their individual ability and attitude.
