| Can I major in accounting (master's course)? I have a BS degree that is non-accounting and completely unrelated. Can I still apply to accounting programs? Are there people out there who come to accounting after doing other degrees? Higher Education (University +) - 3 Answers Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions : 1 I agree with what you are saying 2 it would be difficult for you as you have no basics in a/cing try to specialize further from your bachelors degree 3 Although you don't need a degree in accounting or even anything related to business to apply for graduate accounting programs, nearly all of them will want you to have had some accounting courses as prerequisites. Moreover, if you want a CPA designation, at least some, maybe most or all, states require you to have a certain number of hours in accounting that include a fair number of undergraduate accounting classes. |
