Is an accounting master's degree good

Is an accounting master's degree good? I am outside US and want to study and work there for a few years. Can I apply t ouniversities and go to US on student visa and then work there? Do employers sponsor international students for work visas with an accounting degree. I really want to study accounting and then do CPA.
